How You Will Contribute

• Leading project delivery and have engagement management responsibilities with high a focus on deliverable quality and client relationships.
• Developing findings and making strategic recommendations
• Working with clients directly to implement strategic and operational recommendations
• Gaining hands-on experience through consulting projects or engagement in one or more of the following areas:
  • Acquisitions and procurement
  • Financial modeling and forecasting
  • Sustainment/Maintenance and repair operations
  • Sourcing and supply chain
  • Operations management
• Sourcing opportunities aligned to the Federal market strategy and support pursuit activities related to the Federal pipeline executing all elements of the capture lifecycle.
• Leading responses to Requests for Information (RFIs), Requests for Proposals (RFPs) and Request for Quotation (RFQs) and serve as a proposal manager.
• Developing transformation-based solutions addressing client challenges related to the firm capabilities and relevant offerings.
• Leading, coaching and mentoring team member professionals.

Qualifications

• 3 to 5+ years of relevant military or work experience within the Defense market
• Strong business acumen and technical experience delivering strategy, performance improvement and operational efficiency projects with Federal clients.
• Master’s degree in Business Administration (MBA), Finance, Accounting or Engineering (preferred).
• Ability to obtain a US Government security clearance.
• Must be authorized to work in the US without the need for employment-based sponsorship now or in the future. A&M will not sponsor applicants for US work visa status for this role. In addition, as part of our application process applicants will be subject to a pre-employment and reference investigation.

This position is located in Washington, D.C. Ideal candidates must live within a reasonable commute to the A&M WDC Office. Relocation is not provided.

Compensation Statement

Thesalaryis $115,000- $140,000 annually, dependent on several variables including but not limited to education, experience, skills, and geography. In addition, A&M offers a discretionary bonus program which is based on a number of factors, including individual and firm performance. Please ask your recruiter for details.

Regular employees working 30 or more hours per week are also entitled to participate in Alvarez & Marsal Holdings' fringe benefits consisting of healthcare plans, flexible spending and savings accounts, life, AD&D, and disability coverages at rates determined periodically as well as a 401(k) retirement savings plan. Provided the eligibility requirements are met, employees will also receive an annual discretionary contribution to their 401(k) retirement savings plan from Alvarez & Marsal. Additionally, employees are eligible for paid time off including vacation, personal days, seventy-two (72) hours of sick time (prorated for part time employees), ten federal holidays, one floating holiday, and parental leave. The amount of vacation and personal days available varies based on tenure and role type.
