Alvarez & Marsal is seeking a Senior Associate, FP&A for the Federal Practice to lead budgeting, forecasting, and financial modeling. You will build and maintain models, track KPIs, and deliver actionable insights to Federal Practice and PSS leadership. The role requires 4–5 years of FP&A experience and strong communication with senior stakeholders.
Travel may be required. A CPA/CMA/MBA is a plus, and experience with SAP, Excel, Power BI, Tableau, or Deltek Costpoint is preferred.

The Senior Associate, FP&A, Federal Practice is a hands-on finance professional responsible for the financial planning and analysis supporting the Federal Practice, a strategic business unit within Public Sector Services (PSS). Reporting to the Federal Chief Administrative Officer, this role supports the practice’s budgeting, forecasting, and financial modeling, personally building models, producing analysis, and preparing reporting under the direction of Federal Practice and PSS finance leadership, and coordinating with A&M corporate finance, which owns the general ledger, close, and statutory reporting. As a financial partner to Federal Practice and PSS leadership, the Senior Associate helps translate financial and operational data into insight that supports financial discipline, resource optimization, and profitable growth from project level up through practice-wide level to support overall corporate objectives.

The salary range is $90,000 - $140,000 annually, dependent on several variables including but not limited to education, experience, and skills. In addition, A&M offers a discretionary bonus program which is based on a number of factors, including individual and firm performance. Please ask your recruiter for details.
