Stellantis in Auburn Hills, MI is seeking a Powertrain Portfolio Intern to support design, execution, and analysis of powertrain projects that inform business strategy and product development.

The in‑person internship runs May through August 2027. You will gain hands‑on experience collaborating with planning, engineering, manufacturing, finance, and brand teams, while exposure to HEVs, REEVs, BEVs, and battery systems.

INTERNSHIP FORMAT:

This internship will follow an in‑person model. Interns will be based at the Stellantis Headquarters and Technology Center in Auburn Hills, Michigan. Relocation assistance may be available for candidates who meet specific eligibility criteria. The internship program is scheduled to run from May through August 2027.

DEPARTMENT DETAILS:

The Stellantis Powertrain Portfolio organization shapes the future powertrain portfolio and plays a critical role in the regional performance plan. As a Powertrain Portfolio Intern, you will support the design, execution, and analysis of powertrain‑related projects that inform business strategy and product development.

This role is ideal for a detail‑oriented individual interested in understanding consumer preferences and industry trends while considering corporate priorities and regulatory requirements. You will gain hands‑on experience collaborating with cross‑functional teams across planning, engineering, manufacturing, finance, and brand organizations. Projects may include gasoline and diesel engines, front‑wheel‑drive and rear‑wheel‑drive transmissions, electrified powertrains including hybrid electric vehicles (HEVs), range‑extended electric vehicles (REEVs), and battery electric vehicles (BEVs) and battery systems.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Transform data and observations into insights, implications, and recommendations that support strategic decision‑making
• Support end‑to‑end projects through data collection, analysis, and interpretation of results
• Collaborate with senior colleagues to develop plans that address key business questions
• Create reports and presentations that clearly communicate insights to a variety of audiences through effective visual and narrative formats
• Contribute to process improvements by testing and documenting tools, templates, and research techniques that enhance team efficiency

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS:

• Pursuing a bachelor’s degree or higher from an accredited college or university in business administration, strategic planning, sales and marketing, engineering, data analytics, or a related field
• Proficient in Microsoft Office applications
• Able to work full‑time, 40 hours per week during the internship
• Willing to relocate for internship, if applicable
• Completion of sophomore year or higher at an accredited college or university by spring 2027
• Authorized to work in the United States
