Job summary

Samsung Austin Semiconductor is seeking motivated engineering graduates to join the SEED program, a multi-week orientation that introduces you to the company’s processes and semiconductor manufacturing. After completing the program, you’ll join a permanent department and begin your career with a strong foundation in our operations.

Qualifications

• Degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Chemical Engineering, Computer Science/Engineering, Physics or related fields.
• GPA of 3.0 or better.
• Positive can-do attitude and eagerness to learn.
• Desire to grow within the semiconductor space.
• Prior SAS internship or related program experience is a plus.

Position Summary

Samsung Austin Semiconductor is looking for motivated and curious engineering graduates to join us in our Samsung Emerging Engineer Development (SEED) program.

This multi-week, comprehensive program offers new graduates an overview of the company’s processes and operations, as well as a base knowledge of semiconductor fabrication and manufacturing principles. After completing the multi-week program, you’ll join your permanent department/team.

This program was formerly known as CORP - College Orientation Recruitment Program.

In addition to the specialized orientation, you’ll receive:

Skills and Qualifications

To qualify for our SEED program you’ll need:

• A degree in one of our specified fields
• GPA of 3.0 or better
• Positive “can do” attitude
• Desire to learn and grow within the semiconductor space
• Prior successful experience at SAS as an intern, capstone participant, scholar or loan recipient is a plus.
