LyondellBasell is seeking a Mechanical Engineer Co-op/Intern. You will work on real-world projects that enhance plant reliability, optimize maintenance processes, and drive innovation in product development.

This role spans reliability, maintenance, and R&D, offering hands-on exposure to diverse mechanical engineering disciplines. Applicants should be pursuing a Bachelor's in Mechanical Engineering with a 3.0+ GPA, be at least 18, and able to work in the United States without visa sponsorship.

Qualifications

• Pursuing a Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering.
• Overall GPA of 3.0 or greater.
• Must be at least 18 years of age.
• Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without requiring sponsorship for employment visa status.

Responsibilities

• Reliability Engineer: Proactively develop and implement ideas to enhance plant reliability.
• Maintenance Engineer: Provide daily engineering support and technical assistance for plant equipment repairs.
• Research And Development Engineer: Offer technical support to our polyolefin customers through visits and fabrication trials.
