Job summary

LyondellBasell is seeking a Mechanical Engineer Co-op/Intern to gain hands-on experience at our Pasadena facilities, contributing to reliability, maintenance, and product development initiatives.

You will work with experienced engineers in a global company, receiving mentorship and opportunities to contribute to operational excellence in a collaborative environment.

Qualifications

• Pursuing Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering.
• GPA of 3.0 or greater.
• Must be at least 18 years of age.
• Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without sponsorship.

Responsibilities

• Support reliability, maintenance, and R&D projects in a real-world setting.
• Collaborate with engineers to improve plant performance and safety.
• Assist with data collection, analysis, and documentation for ongoing projects.
• Contribute to cross-disciplinary team initiatives in a global company.

Qualifications We’re Looking For:

• Currently pursuing a Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or an equivalent degree from an accredited university.
• Overall GPA of 3.0 or greater.
• Must be at least 18 years of age.
