Qualifications

• Currently enrolled in a US-based university in a Master's degree program majoring in Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Computer Science or related discipline.
• Enthusiastic about software engineering concepts, design, testing and debugging.
• Familiarity with version control systems and software development processes is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with software engineers to build and maintain AMD software applications.
• Receive training across the full software creation process from design and build to testing and deployment.
• Develop scripts to automate parts of the software development workflow.
• Learn debugging methodologies to identify root causes of issues.
• Contribute to crafting technical/functional documents and reports as needed.

• Semester Students: May 24, 2027 - August 13, 2027
• Summer/Fall Co-op:
• Semester Students: May 24, 2027 - December 10, 2027

WhatYouWillBeDoing

We areseekinghighlymotivated Software Engineering co-op to join our team at AMD. In this role -

• We will assign you responsibilities in which you will work closely with our software engineers to build andmaintain our software applications.
• We willprovide training on the full software creation process, from design andbuiltto testing and deployment.
• We will encourage you to build scripts that automate some of our software development process.
• We will help you learn debugging methodologies to investigate the root cause of software issues.
• In certain projects we may have your involvement in crafting technical/functional documents and reports asneeded.

Who We Are Looking For

• Currently enrolled in a US based University in a Master's degree program majoring in Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Computer Science or related discipline
• If you haveknowledge / experience with any of the following technical skills (or related areas) and are enthusiastic about this role, we strongly encourage you to apply -
