Job summary

Advanced Micro Devices, Inc. is seeking a Masters-level Hardware Engineering intern/co-op to join the team in a hybrid or onsite capacity.

You will collaborate with engineers on discrete and embedded hardware products and gain hands-on experience on systems used by millions of users worldwide. The role targets students in Electrical or Computer Engineering, with exposure to ASIC design, ML/AI, and pre/post-silicon environments.

Qualifications

• Currently enrolled in a US-based university in a Master’s program majoring in Electrical Engineering or Computer Engineering or a related field.
• Knowledge/experience with ASIC design and verification, ML/AI, hardware automation, UNIX and JTAG tools, or pre/post-silicon platforms is encouraged.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with engineers on AMD's discrete and embedded hardware products.
• Learn to build applications at scale for internal and external use and contribute to large systems that improve efficiency.

• Onsite/Hybrid: This role requires the student to work full time (40 hours a week), in either a hybrid or onsite work structure throughout the duration of the co-op/intern term

• Summer Internship:
• Semester Students: May 24, 2027 - August 13, 2027
• Summer/Fall Co-op:
• Semester Students: May 24, 2027 - December 10, 2027

WHOWEARELOOKINGFOR

• You are currently enrolled in a US based University into a Master's program majoring in Electrical Engineering or Computer Engineering or a related field.
• If you have knowledge / experience with any of the following technical skills (or related areas) and are enthusiastic about this role, we strongly encourage you to apply -
