Job summary

Advanced Micro Devices, Inc. (AMD) invites undergrad hardware engineering students to join as interns or co-ops.

You will work with the AMD Hardware team on next-generation processors and AI-enabled systems, gaining hands-on experience on real-world projects that impact millions of end users. You will collaborate with engineers, learn to build applications for external and internal use, and contribute to large-scale systems that improve efficiency across AMD’s hardware organization.

Qualifications

• Enrolled in a US-based university in an undergrad program (Electrical or Computer Engineering or related).
• Interest in ASIC design/verification, ML/AI, hardware validation and testing.
• Knowledge of UNIX and JTAG tools is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with engineers on AMD discrete and embedded hardware products.
• Assist in building applications for external/internal use and for large-scale systems.

• Onsite/Hybrid:This role requires the student to work full time (40 hours a week), in either a hybrid or onsite work structure throughout the duration of the co-op/intern term

Duration:

• Spring/Summer Co-op: January 15, 2027 - August 13, 2027
• Summer Internship:
• Semester Students: May 24, 2027 - August 13, 2027
• Summer/Fall Co-op:
• Semester Students: May 24, 2027 - December 10, 2027

WHAT YOU WILL BE DOING:

• You will collaborate with Engineers andbe responsible forsome of AMD's discrete and embedded hardware products.

WHOWEARELOOKINGFOR:

• You are currently enrolled in a US based University into a Undergrad program majoring in Electrical Engineering or Computer Engineering or a related field.
• If you have knowledge / experience with any of the following technical skills (or related areas) and are enthusiastic about this role, we strongly encourage you to apply -

• Pre-silicon and/orpost-silicon platforms.
