Job summary

Advanced Micro Devices seeks a highly motivated hardware engineering intern/co-op to work on discrete and embedded AMD hardware. You will collaborate with engineers and train to build applications and systems that scale across the Hardware organization.

Ideal candidates are enrolled in a US university's Master’s program (Electrical/Computer Engineering or related). This role supports on-site or hybrid work structures across multiple locations.

Qualifications

• This is a US-based co-op/intern role for students.
• Enrollment in a US university's Master's program required in a related engineering field.
• Knowledge of hardware design tools and programming languages is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with engineers on AMD discrete and embedded hardware products.
• Help build applications for external/internal use and scalable systems.
• Assist in hardware automation, validation and test workflows.

WHAT YOU WILL BE DOING:

Do you want to help improve experiences ofgroundbreakingAMD products? If so, AMD Hardware team is the right place for you. We areseekingahighly motivated Hardware Engineering intern/co-op and in this role:

• You will collaborate with Engineers andbe responsible forsome of AMD’s discrete and embedded hardware products.


• We will train you to build applications for external and internal use as well aslarge scalesystems that improve the efficiency of AMD Hardware organization.

WHOWEARELOOKINGFOR:

• You are currently enrolled in a US based University into a Master’s program majoring in Electrical Engineering or Computer Engineering or a related field.


• If you have knowledge / experience with any of the following technical skills (or related areas) and are enthusiastic about this role, we strongly encourage you to apply –




• C/C++, Verilog, VHDL, Python, Perl, Spice, Ruby, Chrome OS, MATLAB.


• ASICdesign andverification.


• ML and AI.


• System/Boarddesign,circuit board layout, signal integrity, power design.
