Job summary

Summer internships are 40 hours per week for 10 weeks, onsite at US-Kansas-Wichita. Pursuing a Bachelor’s degree in Aviation or related engineering fields is expected.

Responsibilities
- Research, develop, and provide solutions to a complex inspection related maintenance issues.
- Follow established procedures for collecting, organizing, and analyzing product data, researching inspection task findings, technical issues related to inspection programs, component reliability, product enhancements, service documents, etc.
- Position requires frequent internal customer contact.
- Represent Product Support on specific internal and cross-functional projects.
- Analyze special product support problem areas and evaluate various alternatives of meeting these needs.
- Find the best possible solution for product changes, maintenance program modifications or procedural changes using strategy agility.

Intern will support Textron Aviation customers by applying knowledge in the Customer Service Maintenance Engineering department. Intern will use technical principles, theories, and concepts to develop, update, and/or improve inspection-related maintenance plans for all Textron Aviation product lines.
- Research, develop, and provide solutions to a complex inspection related maintenance issues
