Norwest Growth Equity in San Francisco is offering a 10-week Growth Equity Summer Internship for rising seniors to gain hands-on investing experience. You will learn sourcing, diligence, and deal execution while working closely with seasoned professionals.
Interns source and evaluate opportunities, build proprietary deal flow, meet prospects in person, and develop an understanding of the diligence and execution process in a collaborative, fast-moving environment.
Norwest’s Growth Equity team—approximately 40 investment professionals strong—partners with growing, profitable, often founder-owned companies, frequently serving as their first institutional capital partner. The team invests across Technology, Healthcare, Consumer, and Business Services, with investments typically structured to provide liquidity to early shareholders or support strategic M&A initiatives rather than to fund primary capital burn.
Each summer, the team brings on a small cohort of interns for a 10-week Growth Equity Summer Internship, which gives rising seniors hands-on training in investing. Interns learn to source and evaluate new opportunities, build proprietary deal flow, meet prospects in person, and understand the diligence and deal execution process. Ideal candidates have some exposure to or interest in investing, strong hustle and resourcefulness, tolerance for trial and error in sourcing, and a collaborative, self-starter mindset.
