Job summary

True North Advisors offers an internship in Wealth Management to give hands-on exposure to wealth advisory. You will collaborate with multiple teams and work on client projects aiming to understand the space deeply. The program runs for 6 to 8 weeks during the summer in Dallas or Fort Worth.

Applicants should be rising juniors or seniors in a related program, with a 3.4+ GPA, and strong skills in Outlook, PowerPoint, Word, and Excel. A favorable background check is required.

Qualifications

• Junior or Senior standing in a personal financial planning, accounting, or finance program with GPA 3.4+.
• Available to work 40 hours per week for 6–8 weeks in the summer.
• Self-starter who thrives in an entrepreneurial atmosphere and values client service.
• Strong Outlook, PowerPoint, Word, and Excel skills.
• Maintain extreme confidentiality in client matters.
• Must consent to and have a favorable credit report and background check.

Responsibilities

• Work on client projects across wealth management teams.
• Learn industry-specific technology used in wealth advisory.
• Be involved with Wealth Management, Wealth Planning, Operations, and Investments teams.
• Support program with potential for full-time opportunity after graduation.
