Job summary

GE Vernova's Edison Engineering Development Program is an entry-level, rotational engineering track. It accelerates technical training and professional development across disciplines such as Design, Analysis, Systems, Quality, Reliability, Digital, and Integration & Test, with mentorship and business leadership training.

Graduates with a BS or MS in engineering join a program that offers MS credit and broad career pathways in GE Vernova's technology ecosystem.

Qualifications

  • ABET-accredited engineering degree required.
  • GPA >= 3.0/4.0 preferred.
  • Internships, co-ops, or research in design/manufacturing are a plus.

It is an entry-level engineering program consisting of rotational assignments, technical training, and accelerating your professional development. Essential Responsibilities:

As a GE Vernova Edison Engineering Development Program member, you will:

  • Work on impactful, technically-challenging projects in the power generation industry during four 6-month rotations in a variety of disciplines, including Design, Analysis, Systems, Quality, Reliability, Digital, and Integration & Test
  • Enhance core engineering skills through Advanced Courses in Engineering and Business leadership training attended alongside other GE Vernova program members from other functions and locations
  • Receive technical training, mentorship, and coaching from world-class technologists and experienced technical managers
  • Participate in development training with other GE Vernova Development program members from other functions and locations
  • Have the opportunity to earn credit towards an MS degree in Engineering (if entering with a BS)
  • Grow technical expertise in your chosen field and expand skills in new areas

  • Bachelor's or Master's Degree in the Engineering majors stated below from an ABET accredited university

Additional Notes:

  • Greenville, SC, Schenectady NY are potential locations for first year. Other select locations inside the US are available in the second year of the program, Atlanta, GA and Houston, TX
  • Relocation package is included
  • Graduation dates: December 2026 or May/June 2027
  • Degrees: Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Aero Engineering, Controls Engineering, Materials Engineering, Civil Engineering, Mechatronics Engineering, or other Energy Engineering related majors will be considered

Additional Eligibility Qualifications:

For candidates applying to a U.S. based position, the pay range for this position is between $85,000 for Bachelors and $86,000 for Masters degree. The Company pays a geographic differential of 110%, 120% or 130% of salary in certain areas. The specific pay offered may be influenced by a variety of factors, including the candidate’s experience, education, and skill set.

Bonus eligibility: 5% Discretionary annual bonus
