Job summary

MSD invites students to join the Future Talent Program for a 10-12 week paid internship in drug discovery research within our Research and Development Division. Participants will work on Cardiometabolic disease projects and collaborate with cross-functional teams in a research lab setting to gain hands-on experience.

Qualifications & Requirements

• Current Enrollment:Currently pursuing a BS/BA, MS, or Ph.D.in a relevant field with interest or experience in drug discovery research.
• Academic Standing:Completed at least two years of undergraduate studies or one year of graduate studies by the start of the internship. Must be continuing education for at least one semester after the internship.
• Safety:Understanding and training in safe lab practices.
• Culture:Commitment to fostering a diverse and inclusive workplace culture.

Preferred Skills

• Prior laboratory research experience in relevant techniques.
• Experience in in vitro cell line culture and in vitro assay research environment.
• GPA of 3.0 or higher.

The salary range for this role is $39,108 through $111,111.
