Job summary

MSD Malaysia's Future Talent Program offers a 10–12 week Global Safety & Environment internship at our Millsboro, Delaware facility. You will support environmental compliance programs (Air, Water, Waste) and gain hands-on EH&S experience on real projects as part of a diverse team.

We look for students pursuing a technical degree who can work full time for 10–12 weeks, possess strong critical thinking and communication skills, and be able to implement changes based on direction.

Job description

The Future Talent Program features internships that last up to 12 weeks and will include one or more projects. These opportunities in our Global Support Functions Division can provide you with great development and a chance to see if we are the right company for your long‑term goals. The Global Safety & Environment Intern will provide environmental, health, and safety (EHS) compliance and technical support at the Millsboro, Delaware manufacturing facility related to environmental compliance programs (Air, Water, Waste).

Please note that this position may be closed before the posted end date or may remain open longer, at the discretion of the company.

Required Education and Skills

• Currently pursuing a Bachelors/ Master’s Degree in Safety, Environmental Science, Engineering, Biotechnology, Chemistry, Biology or another technical program.
• Completed at least 2 years of College course work
• Able to work full time for a period of 10-12 weeks
• Critical thinking, communication, problem‑solving and computer skills
• Ability to receive verbal or written direction and implement corresponding changes

Preferred Education and Skills

• Prior internship or work experience in the Environmental, Health, and Safety field or in chemical manufacturing.

Salary Range

• Salary range: The salary range for this role is $39,908 - $111,111 USD FTP2027 GSF2027
