LyondellBasell is seeking a Health & Safety Engineer Co-op/Intern to gain hands-on experience in safety, health, and environmental programs. You will participate in incident-prevention initiatives, support field evaluations, and help implement sustainable safety solutions within a leading global chemical company.

Qualifications

• Pursuing a Bachelor's degree in a relevant field.
• Overall GPA of 3.0 or greater.
• Must be at least 18 years old.

Responsibilities

• Support Health & Safety initiatives and incident prevention programs.
• Participate in safety and loss prevention projects to drive compliance and continuous improvement.
• Assist with risk assessments, field evaluations, and safety audits.
• Contribute to the development of safe operating procedures and training materials.

Education

Bachelor's degree in Chemical Engineering, Industrial Hygiene, Fire Protection, Occupational Safety, or an equivalent degree
