Northrop Grumman is seeking a Software Engineering Intern to join the Defense Systems Intern Program. This position will be located in Hollywood, MD, and the qualified candidate will become part of Northrop Grumman’s Command and Control Weapons Division.

Responsibilities include constructing, troubleshooting, calibrating, testing, and maintaining equipment; working from engineering drawings; and reporting data in prescribed formats.

Qualifications

• Be enrolled full-time in Fall 2026 and pursuing an undergraduate or graduate STEM degree.
• Be able to obtain U.S. Government security clearance and be a U.S. citizen.
• GPA 3.25/4.0 or higher preferred.

Northrop Grumman is seeking Software Engineering Intern to join the Defense Systems Intern Program. This position will be located in Hollywood, MD. The qualified candidate will become part of Northrop Grumman’s Command and Control Weapons Division.

• Prepare prescribed compounds and solutions.

Basic Qualifications

• Be enrolled full-time and pursuing an undergraduate or graduate degree from an accredited college/university AND will be enrolled full time in Fall 2026
• Be majoring in a STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering or Math) degree.
• Be available to work full-time (40 hours per week) for at least 10 weeks during Summer 2027.
• Be able to obtain and maintain a U.S. Government security clearance (U.S. citizenship is a pre-requisite) as well as Program Special access within a reasonable period of time, as determined by the company to meet its business needs (U.S. citizenship is a pre-requisite).

Preferred Qualifications

• Have an overall cumulative GPA of 3.25/4.0 or higher.
• Previous internship/co-op experience, leadership & teamwork capabilities, interpersonal communication skills, and activities (professional/community/extracurricular)

Intern Pay Range

Undergraduate degrees (Including graduating students planning on attending/enrolled in a full-time Master’s program): $18.50 - $33.50 Master’s: $21.50 - $48.00 Campusjobs Primary Level Salary Range: $0.00 - $0.00 The above salary range represents a general guideline; however, Northrop Grumman considers a number of factors when determining base salary offers such as the scope and responsibilities of the position and the candidate's experience, education, skills and current market conditions.
