Northrop Grumman is seeking Electrical Engineer for an internship opportunity. This position will be located at our Mission Systems Sector in McClellan, CA. The qualified candidate will become part of Northrop Grumman’s Transformation Computing (TC) Program, Networked Information Solutions Division, Northrop Grumman Mission Systems. Focused on leveraging superconductive technologies.

Basic Qualifications
  • A candidate must be a student who is enrolled full-time and pursuing an undergraduate or graduate degree from an accredited college/university and will be enrolled full time in Fall2027
  • Be majoring in Electrical Engineering, a STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering or Math) degree.
  • Be available to work full-time (40 hours per week) for at least 10 weeks during summer2027.
  • Be able to obtain and maintain a U.S. Government security clearance (U.S. citizenship is a pre-requisite) as well as Program Special access within a reasonable period of time, as determined by the company to meet its business needs (U.S. citizenship is a pre-requisite).
Preferred Qualifications
  • Have an overall cumulative GPA of3.70/4.0 or higher.
  • Have some experience with programing (C++, Python, Java).
  • Have some experience with reading / creating schematics.
  • Have some experience with using lab equipment.
  • Signal processing (DSP) / FPGA. Model-based Engineering, DevSecOps and Agile practices.
  • Work on FPGA and ASIC Design across the full product life cycle process.
  • Interested in communications theory, digital systems, and Statistical & Digital Comm? TS/SCI clearances Digital signal processing and digital interfaces. DSP/Digital Comms, EM/RF/Wireless, and Analog Electronics.

Intern Pay Range: Bachelor’s: $21.50 to $39.00 per hour Master’s: $30.50 to $48.00 per hour campusjobs Primary Level Salary Range: $21.50 - $39.00

The above salary range represents a general guideline; however, Northrop Grumman considers a number of factors when determining base salary offers such as the scope and responsibilities of the position and the candidate's experience, education, skills and current market conditions. Depending on the position, employees may be eligible for overtime, shift differential, and a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay. Annual bonuses are designed to reward individual contributions as well as allow employees to share in company results. Employees in Vice President or Director positions may be eligible for Long Term Incentives.
