Job summary

Textron Specialized Vehicles is offering a 2027 Communications Intern position as part of a 10-week paid internship. You will help define and execute communications strategies for 3,500+ employees and communities, support content creation, and assist with events that showcase the company's brands and corporate citizenship.

The role includes collaboration with marketing and hands-on projects under mentorship.

Qualifications

• Pursuing a Bachelor’s degree in communications, journalism, business, or related field.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Word).
• Experience with Adobe Photoshop is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Assist in defining, developing, and executing communications strategies to inform and engage 3,500+ global employees and external stakeholders.
• Plan and execute internal and external communications across newsletters, intranet, social media, and meetings/events.
• Assist in planning employee and community-engagement events to boost morale and corporate citizenship.
• Develop engaging content including photo/video to support campaigns.
• Collaborate with marketing for tactical communications to raise brand awareness.

Responsibilities:

Assist in defining, developing, and executing communications strategies to effectively inform and engage company stakeholders, including 3,500 global employees, surrounding communities, and civic leaders.

Plan and execute internal and external communications across multiple mediums, including regularly published internal newsletters, company intranet sites, social media, and face‑to‑face meetings and events.

Assist in the planning and execution of employee and community‑engagement events to drive positive morale among workforce and position the company as a solid corporate citizen and employer of choice in its communities.

Assist in the development of engaging content to support communications initiatives, including photo and video production and internal communications campaigns.

Collaborate with company’s marketing function as needed with tactical marketing communications, with a focus on increasing awareness and visibility of TSV brands and products and positively influencing customer buying decisions.

Other projects as requested.
