Job summary

Everest Group, Ltd. invites you to join its 10-week 2027 Claims Internship Program in Warren, NJ. This hybrid role blends in-office and remote work, with real-world exposure to Property & Casualty Reinsurance and insurance operations.

You will support Claims leaders, participate in high-value case work, and develop investigative skills while engaging with industry experts and emerging technologies. This internship prepares you for our Rotational Development Program.

Qualifications

• Pursuing a bachelor’s degree at an accredited college/university.
• Strong communication, analytical, collaboration, and negotiation skills.
• Proficiency in MS Office, especially Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
• Leadership or involvement in campus activities, clubs, or community.
• Ability to work in a high-volume, fast-paced environment.
• Excel skills including pivot tables and VLOOKUP.

Responsibilities

2027 Everest Claims Internship Program

This is a hybrid position: 3 days in the office, 2 days working remotely.

The Program will run for 10 weeks: May 31, 2027 - August 6, 2027.

Your Impact & Opportunity

You will provide support to Claims leaders from a diverse multi-class portfolio as they provide precise responses to the market and ensure accurate reserving throughout the claims adjustment lifecycle.

Participate in meetings and work on presentations related to high value and complex losses alongside experienced claims adjusters.

Participate in client visits and audits to develop keen investigative skills.

You will collaborate on projects involving research on industry data sources.

Participate in leader led events, collaborate on cross-functional group projects, and engage in growth developmental activities.

Gain hands-on experience using AI and emerging technologies to solve real business challenges, improve efficiency, and enhance decision-making.

What You Bring: Experience & Qualifications

• You are a junior pursuing a bachelor's degree at an accredited college/university, majoring in Business Administration, Criminal Justice, Political Science, Risk Management, or similar.
• You are a highly ambitious team player with excellent communication, analytical, critical thinking, collaboration, and negotiation skills.
• Proficiency in MS Office software, specifically Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
• Leadership or involvement in extracurricular activities, campus clubs/organizations, your community, etc.
• Ability to work in a high volume, fast paced environment.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office software, especially Excel (pivot tables, VLOOKUP).
• Ability to work in a high volume, fast paced environment while managing multiple projects and priorities.

The salary for this position is $800 per week. The offered rate of compensation is based on work location. All offers include access to a variety of benefits for the duration of the internship program, including health insurance coverage, 401k match, paid holidays, and paid time off (PTO).
