Job summary

Kinder Morgan is seeking an engineering intern to join Division 10 in Enfield, Connecticut, reporting to the Manager, Technical Services. The internship focuses on safety, regulatory tracking, data analysis, and performance metrics.

You'll work in a team environment with occasional field work, contribute to projects, and prepare a capstone presentation summarizing learning experiences. Travel may be required.

Qualifications

• Working toward an engineering degree and entering Junior or Senior year of college.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, SharePoint).
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to work in a team and independently.
• Technical writing ability.
• Willingness for occasional overnight travel.

We are looking to have an intern join our Division 10 team!

This position will report to the Manager, Technical Services for Division 10 Office in Enfield, Connecticut. Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

• The development and review of safety and regulatory compliance tracking and reporting.
• Analysis of operational data and the development of performance and reliability metrics.
• The development and implementation of projects to ensure operational reliability and efficiency.
• Miscellaneous pipeline and compressor engineering calculations and monitoring.
• The development of a capstone presentation to summarize activities and learning during BOLT Internship.

What You Need

Candidate must be working toward an engineering degree and entering Junior or Senior year of college.

• Proficient working knowledge of Microsoft Office - (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, SharePoint, etc.)
• Good verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability and desire to work in a team environment and to be able to work independently.
• Technical writing ability.
• Office environment with occasional field work within compressor station and pipeline right-of-way areas.
• Overnight travel may occasionally be required
• Additional hours may be required to meet the needs of the Division.

Pay Range

USD $30.00 - USD $30.00 /Hr.
