Job summary
BNY is offering the 2027 Summer Internship Program in Client Coverage in New York. Interns will gain hands-on experience in client engagement, business development, and relationship management while supporting reporting, pipeline tracking, and client materials.
Participants will work with senior professionals across coverage, product, and strategy teams to translate market insights into strategic recommendations and client-ready content.
Qualifications
- Enrollment in a 4-year undergraduate degree program with focus on business-related and/or technology-related majors.
- Graduating in Dec 2027 or May 2028 (US).
- Minimum cumulative GPA of 3.0 or better.
- No sponsorship required for employment visa status in the country where applying.

- Research clients, industries, and market trends to help teams prepare for meetings, pitches, and strategic conversations.
- Turn data and market insight into concise presentations, talking points, and recommendations for internal and client-facing discussions.

The Client Coverage Internship Program offers driven students hands-on exposure to the practice through strategic projects aligned to client engagement, business development, sales support, relationship management and client planning. In a fast-paced environment, interns will support reporting, pipeline tracking, client materials and business development activities while building insight into BNY’s offerings, the competitive landscape and the importance of strong communication, commercial thinking and cross-functional partnership.

The BNY Summer Internship Program offers high-potential students a dynamic 10-week experience designed to accelerate development, build professional networks, and provide meaningful exposure to one of the world’s leading financial services institutions.
