Job summary

Northrop Grumman Corp. is seeking an Embedded Software Engineer in Rolling Meadows, IL, to join the Mission Systems Sector. The role involves full lifecycle design, implementation, and verification of embedded software for digital electronics and hardware systems.

Ideal candidates have a relevant STEM degree (Bachelor's or Master’s) and the ability to obtain a U.S. Government security clearance. Candidates with experience in C, C++, Java and software architecture are preferred.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering or closely related STEM required.
  • Master's degree plus 1 year of relevant experience considered.
  • Ability to obtain U.S. Government security clearance (U.S. citizenship required).
  • Final U.S. Government Secret clearance required to start.

Responsibilities

Annual bonuses are designed to reward individual contributions as well as allow employees to share in company results.
