Job summary

Textron is hiring an entry-level Assoc Trade Compliance Analyst in Augusta, GA. You will support daily trade compliance activities, classify products, and help implement process improvements under mentorship.

The role emphasizes building cross-functional relationships and maintaining accurate trade documentation. The position offers on-site work at a Textron business unit, with opportunities for growth through hands-on experience and development opportunities.

Qualifications

  • Research, analysis, problem solving, writing, presentation skills are a plus.
  • Bachelor’s degree in business, engineering, accounting/finance, economics, or related fields required/preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Managing daily trade compliance activities to ensure TSV’s parts and products flow across international borders in compliance with Customs regulatory requirements.
  • Classification of products in accordance with the U.S. Harmonized Tariff Schedule, Schedule B, and the Export Administration Regulations, Commerce Control List.
  • Identify, develop, and implement trade compliance process improvements.
  • Develop and maintain professional working partnerships with key internal business areas to encourage the exchange of ideas, plans, developments, and regulatory practices.
  • Collection, validation, and maintenance of trade related documentation and information required to support TSV’s trade initiatives.
  • Conduct import/export self‑assessments to ensure transactions meet regulatory and company record retention guidelines.
  • Contributes to a culture of respect, dignity and inclusion, where everyone, feels heard and understood, empowered and valued.
