Job summary

Sub-Zero, Wolf, and Cove invite engineering students to join a Spring/Summer 2027 internship in Goodyear, AZ. You will work with our production engineering teams on real projects supporting Safety, Delivery, Cost and Quality.

This internship provides hands-on design, testing, and documentation experience with mentorship from experienced engineers and exposure to product development, data analysis, and problem-solving at a leading luxury appliance company.

Qualifications

• Must be a current student enrolled in a bachelor’s degree program at an accredited university.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, test, and document new product designs for Sub-Zero products.
• Collaborate with Engineers, Drafters, and Technicians to support safety, delivery, cost and quality on a production team.
• Assist with reliability testing, data analysis, and reports to identify trends and inform design decisions.

• Business Unit (Operations & Production Engineering ) Camelback &Goodyear Locations
  • • Work on a specific production team working with hourly employees, reliability engineers, test engineers, quality engineers, and manufacturing engineers. Projects will vary but will support Safety, Delivery, Cost and Quality on that specific production team.
• Work closely with Engineers, Drafters, and Technicians to design, develop, test, and document new designs as well as enhancements to Sub-Zero Inc. products. Create a concept, prototype it, build it to test, and then redesign the product to make any necessary corrections.
• Reliability Engineering:
  • Work closely with experienced engineers to support the development and testing of Sub-Zero Group, Inc. products by creating test plans, building fixtures, and documenting procedures. You’ll assist with product teardowns, root-cause analyses, and design reviews, while analyzing sensor and warranty data to identify trends. You’ll also help prepare reports using statistical tools to define performance targets and assess risk. You will have the opportunity to take the lead on projects and gain hands-on experience in product development, data analysis, and engineering problem-solving.
