Qualifications

• Pursuing a BS/BA in analytics-related field such as CS, MIS, stats, math, data science, or similar with GPA ≥ 3.0.
• Internship or work experience in analytics
• U.S. citizen or legal right to work in the U.S. without sponsorship now or in the future
• Willing to relocate anywhere in the United States
• Strong collaboration and leadership demonstrated in campus activities or projects
• Coursework or experience with data analytics, programming, and visualization tools

Trane Technologies’ early career student program internships provide current college students with challenging assignments, leadership training, valuable exposure to our company's senior leaders and opportunities to network. Our 12-week summer internship opportunities offer candidates working toward their Bachelor's in Analytics Focused majors’ exposure to variety projects which will include various ways to apply your education in solving real world problems. At Trane Technologies, we value our people and their development. Through our student programs, participants will have an opportunity to interview for our full-time, post-graduate, Accelerated Development Program for AI & Analytics or direct hire opportunities.

This position is eligible for a Hybrid or Onsite work schedule and will be based out of one of our many locations across North America. Flexible work from home options available.

What you will bring

• Collaborates with others on the analytics team to develop an understanding of the data, the business, and technical approaches.
• Understand data sets essential to developing models, visualizations, reports, and insights.

• Demonstrated ability to leverage analytical tools to extract and analyze large data sets to provide actionable insights to the business.
• Coursework or experience utilizing some or all of the following: Python, R, SQL, Dataiku, Tableau, or other visualization software, cloud based tools like BigQuery, Redshift.
• Willing to be mobile and relocate anywhere in the United States
• Pursuing a BS/BA in Analytics related field such as Computer Science, Management of Information Systems, Statistics, Mathematics, Analytics, Data Science, or similar with a cumulative overall GPA at or above 3.0 and an interest in a career in Analytics or AI/Data Science.
• Minimum Work Experience: At least one internship or work experience
• Demonstrated leadership skills such as: campus organizations, sports team captain, resident advisor, etc. or exceptional leadership of work projects
• U.S. citizen or have the legal right to work in the U.S. without requiring sponsorship now or in the future

Annual Base Salary Range or Hourly Base Pay Range: $22.50 - $30.00 Compensation Type: Hourly Incentive Eligible: No Sales Commission Eligible: No Disclaimer: We strive to provide competitive compensation for this position, tailored to a variety of factors. Our compensation range is generally based on the national average for the country.
