Job summary

Trane Technologies is seeking an engineering student for an on-site role in Wisconsin. You will support the development, testing, and validation of HVAC products, setting up experiments, collecting data, and documenting results in a collaborative lab environment.

You will work with engineers and technicians, applying problem-solving skills to improve performance and reliability while gaining hands-on experience in HVAC systems.

What you will do:

Support the development, testing, and validation of heating, ventilation, and air conditioning products and technologies. In this role, you will work alongside engineers and laboratory staff to set up experiments, collect and analyze test data, document results, and help improve product performance, efficiency, and reliability. Your responsibilities may include assisting with prototype evaluation, troubleshooting test setups, maintaining accurate records, and following all laboratory safety and quality procedures. This position provides hand-on experience with HVAC systems, engineering problem-solving, and cross-functional collaboration in a research and development laboratory environment. This is an on-site position.

Annual Base Salary Range or Hourly Base Pay Range:

$22.50 - $26.60 Compensation Type: Hourly Incentive Eligible: No Sales Commission Eligible: No Disclaimer: We strive to provide competitive compensation for this position, tailored to a variety of factors. The actual compensation will depend on elements such as seniority, merit, geographic location, education, experience, travel requirements, and union designation. Our compensation range is generally based on the national average for the country. Additionally, benefits may vary depending on the region, business alignment, union involvement, and employee status.
