Job summary

Simtra BioPharma Solutions in Bloomington, IN, invites undergraduate and graduate students to join our Fall Co-op Program in Technical Services. You will work on real-world drug product projects, contribute to process development, and learn from industry professionals through hands-on sessions and site visits.

The Co‑op focuses on designing and transferring processes, CAD drafting, and supporting product launches, with opportunities to engage across teams and gain exposure to quality,

Qualifications

• Pursuing a BS or MS degree in IT, CS, Cybersecurity, or related field.
• Strong understanding and experience with CAD.
• Advanced proficiency in MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
• Ability to work independently or collaboratively in a team environment.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Assist in technical transfer processes for new filling line clients.
• Provide technical transfer support in bringing new building/assets online.
• Draft CAD files to develop new prep drawing assemblies.
• Complete client technical service studies.
• Develop a framework for collaborative resources within the new building.

Simtra is seeking highly motivated undergraduate or graduate students for our Fall Co‑op Program. We look for diverse students with inquisitive minds and the desire to challenge themselves. Our Co‑op students work closely with industry professionals and learn quickly how to problem‑solve on real‑world projects that contribute to clinical research and manufacturing processes. In addition to on‑the‑job experience, we offer learning sessions with top leadership, site visits to local projects and social events.

The Opportunity:

Technical Services is a team of experienced pharmaceutical professionals responsible for the technical onboarding and process development of new drug product projects at Simtra. This includes designing the process(es) required for the new project.

The responsibilities:

The Co‑op will work on the following projects:

• Assisting in technical transfer process for new filling line clients
• Providing technical transfer support in bringing new building, assets online
• Drafting of CAD files to develop new prep drawing assemblies
• Completing client technical service studies
• Developing framework for collaborative resources within new building

Required qualifications:

• Pursuing a BS or MS degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Cybersecurity, or a related field
• Strong understanding and experience working with CAD
• Advanced proficiency in MS Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
• Highly motivated, self‑driven individual with passion working within pharmaceutical industry
• Ability to work either independently or collaboratively in a team environment
• Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines in a fast‑paced environment
