Job summary

Simtra US LLC in Bloomington, IN is offering a Fall Co-op focused on technical transfer and process development for new drug projects. Students work with industry professionals on real-world projects advancing manufacturing and clinical research.

You will collaborate across teams, contribute to CAD-based drawings, and gain hands-on experience in pharmaceutical process design and on-site onboarding.

Qualifications

  • Pursuing a BS or MS degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Cybersecurity, or a related field
  • Strong understanding and experience working with CAD
  • Advanced proficiency in MS Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
  • Highly motivated, self-driven individual with passion working within pharmaceutical industry
  • Ability to work either independently or collaboratively in a team environment
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment

Responsibilities

  • The Co‑op will work on the following projects:
  • Assisting in technical transfer process for new filling line clients
  • Providing technical transfer support in bringing new building, assets online
  • Drafting of CAD files to develop new prep drawing assemblies
  • Completing client technical service studies
  • Developing framework for collaborative resources within new building

Simtra is seeking highly motivated undergraduate or graduate students for our Fall Co-op Program. We look for diverse students with inquisitive minds and the desire to challenge themselves. Our Co‑op students work closely with industry professionals and learn quickly how to problem solve on real‑world projects that contribute to clinical research and manufacturing processes. In addition to on‑job experience, we offer learning sessions with top leadership, site visits to local projects and social events.

The Opportunity:

Technical Services is a team of experienced pharmaceutical professionals responsible for the technical onboarding and process development of new drug product projects at Simtra. This includes designing the process(es) required for the new project.

The responsibilities:
