Summer Analyst Program

Annually, we invite high-performing rising seniors to join our 10-week U.S. Summer Analyst Program in Municipal Finance. Participants gain insights into municipal finance through diverse transaction work, developing skills in financial problem solving, negotiation, execution, and marketing.

What will you do?

The Municipal Finance Summer Analyst provides analytical, research, and transactional support in structuring and issuing municipal bonds and related financial advisory services. Responsibilities include:

  • Preparing cash flow projections and financial analyses for transactions
  • Gathering and analyzing information for proposals, presentations, and marketing materials
  • Assisting in proposal preparation for financing options and underwriting capabilities
  • Maintaining and enhancing departmental information resources
  • Coordinating activities related to debt pricing and settlement
  • Performing other related duties as assigned

What do you need to succeed?

We seek candidates who are:

  • Undergraduate students entering their final year, graduating in Spring 2027 or December 2026
  • Possessing strong quantitative and qualitative analytical skills, with a preference for finance and accounting knowledge
  • Familiar with MS Outlook, Word, and Excel
  • Capable of managing multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
  • Demonstrating behaviors such as collaboration, relationship building, communication, integrity, and inclusivity
  • Engaged in diverse interests and extracurricular activities
