Job summary

Northrop Grumman is seeking an Associate Program Planning and Scheduling Analyst or Program Planning and Scheduling Analyst. This position can be filled at a level A01 or level A02 and will be located at our Aeronautics Systems sector in Melbourne, FL.

The qualified candidate will become part of Northrop Grumman’s Business Management Organization.

Responsibilities
  • Prepares, develops and coordinates the integrated master plan and integrated master schedule to meet all program objectives.
  • Ensures major projects and program schedules and plans are horizontally and vertically integrated across company functional groups including finance, engineering, material, manufacturing, and quality.
  • Tracks plans and schedules, performs risk analysis, identifies and resolves critical path and network logic conflicts.
  • Utilizes Gantt, PERT, milestone charts, earned value management and other project management techniques to gauge progress and identify performance variances to facilitate focus and intervention on critical areas.
Basic Qualifications – Associate Program Planning and Scheduling Analyst (A01)
  • Be completing or has completed a Bachelor’s degree from an accredited institution by June 2027.
  • Be majoring in or having majored in Industrial Engineering, Communications, Education, Business Administration, Accounting, Finance, or related field.
  • Be able to obtain and maintain a U.S. Government security clearance (U.S. citizenship is a pre‑requisite) and Program Special access within a reasonable period of time.
Basic Qualifications – Program Planning and Scheduling Analyst (A02)
  • Be completing or has completed a Master’s degree from an accredited institution by June 2027 or have a completed Bachelor’s degree and at least 2 years of related experience.
  • Be majoring in or having majored in Industrial Engineering, Communications, Education, Business Administration, Accounting, Finance, or related field.
  • Be able to obtain and maintain a U.S. Government security clearance (U.S. citizenship is a pre‑requisite) and Program Special access within a reasonable period of time.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Have an overall cumulative GPA of 3.25/4.0 or higher.
  • Previous internship/co‑op or other work experience, leadership and teamwork capabilities, interpersonal communication skills, and activities (professional, community, extracurricular).
Pay Range
  • Associate Program Planning and Scheduling Analyst (A01): $59,900 – $89,900
  • Program Planning and Scheduling Analyst (A02): $72,100 – $108,100
