You will generate PMB baselines, perform analyses, and help ensure contracts meet negotiated parameters while adhering to government cost control guidelines. This role involves forecasting, reporting, cost incurrence, and supporting audits, with opportunities to develop EVM skills and influence program financials within a secure, mission-focused

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration (Accounting, Data Analytics, Economics, Finance, Management, Marketing, etc.)
  • Proficiency in MS Office Suite, high level of Excel (pivot tables, lookups, charts, VBA macros)
  • U.S. Government security clearance (U.S. citizenship required)

Responsibilities

  • Generate program performance baselines (PMB) and implement approved changes
  • Analyze and report to ensure contracts meet negotiated parameters and guidelines
  • Prepare program financial reports on cost incurrence, material tracking, and labor
  • Identify and mitigate cost and schedule risk
  • Forecast and report for AOP, Labor Resource Plan, and forecasts
  • Support audits, customer proposals, and negotiation
  • Perform Earned Value Management (EVM) tasks including WBS and PMB

We are looking for you to join our team as an Associate Program Cost Schedule Control Analyst based out of Woodland Hills, CA.

What You’ll get to Do

Northrop Grumman is seeking a motivated individual for the Associate Program Cost Schedule Control Analyst position within our Business Management organization.

  • Generate program performance measurement baselines (PMB) and implement approved changes
  • Perform analyses and prepare reports to ensure program contracts are within negotiated, agreed-upon parameters, government cost control guidelines, and accounting guidelines
  • Perform analyses and prepare program financial reports for internal and external customers relative to program cost incurrence, material tracking, and labor spending
  • Identify and mitigate program cost and schedule risk
  • Coordinate and prepare program financial forecasting and reporting, the Annual Operating Plan (AOP), and the Labor Resource Plan
  • Review and analyze actual variance drivers and assist with corrective action planning
  • Facilitate, monitor, and forecast program financing mechanisms including Accounts Receivable, Advanced Payments, and Performance Based Payments
  • Support program audits, reviews, and fact-finding as requested by program customers, audit agencies, and company management
  • Support program cost estimate development, customer proposals, and negotiation
  • Perform Earned Value Management (EVM) tasks including developing the Work Breakdown Structure (WBS) and performance measurement baseline (PMB), monitoring and analyzing the Estimate to Complete (ETC), Estimate at Complete (EAC), significant variances, risk management reserve (MR), and financial reserve (FR), and preparing of internal and external status reports
Basic Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration (Accounting, Data Analytics, Economics, Finance, Management, Marketing, etc.) or Business adjacent degree (Mathematics, Risk Management) from an accredited institution.
  • Proficiency in MS Office Suite, specifically a high level of proficiency in Microsoft Excel (pivot tables, lookups, chart generation or VBA macros.)
  • Be able to obtain a U.S. Government security clearance (U.S. citizenship is a pre-requisite)
Preferred Qualifications
  • Have an overall cumulative GPA of 3.25 / 4.00 or higher
  • Have prior Business relevant internship/co-op or work experience, leadership & teamwork, capabilities, interpersonal communication skills, and activities (professional/community/extracurricular).

Salary Range

Associate Program Cost Schedule Analyst: $63,000 to $94,600 per year
