Job summary

Lewis-Palmer School District is seeking substitute teachers for the 2026-2027 school year with good availability. Candidates must hold an active substitute authorization or a Colorado teaching license and pass both state and district background checks.

Daily pay rates are: Mon-Thu $165 for a full day or $82.50 for a half day; Friday $185 full day or $92.50 half day. Frequent and long-term assignments adjust to Day 46+ and Day 90+ with higher rates.

Job description

Lewis-Palmer School District is accepting applications for substitute teachers with good availability for the 2026-2027school year! Substitute teachers must hold an active substitute authorization or an active Colorado teaching license. In addition to the required background check CDE requires to obtain your license, District #38 will also require it's own separate background check to obtain employment with the District.

The current rates are as follows;

Base Pay Rate:

• Monday-Thursday: $165/Full-Day; $82.50/Half-Day (Day 1 through 45)
• Friday: $185 Full-Day; $92.50/Half-Day

Frequent and Long-Term Rate:

• $175/Full-Day; $87.50/Half-Day (Day 46 through 89)
• $185/Full-Day; $92.50/Half-Day from (Day 90+)
