Requirements

Must have NYS Certification as a Teaching Assistant – Level I, Level II, Level III or NYS certification as a teacher.

• Experience working with students
• Possess excellent classroom management skills
• Have a professional repertoire including organization, time management, technology skills and approach

Responsibilities

• Support students with instructional projects
• Collaborate with teachers
• Assist students with physical care tasks and health-related activities as appropriate (examples include feeding, dressing, transfers between equipment, and toileting)
