Job summary

TrulyHired seeks a Paraprofessional to support instruction in Berkeley County School District. Employment days: 190 days with daily hours determined by the supervisor. Salary range: $26,280 to $41,691 annually.

Applicants must provide an associate's degree or at least 60 college credits, official transcripts, Praxis Paraprofessional test scores, and a TB test. The district will review applications within three weeks and may interview multiple candidates.

• Negative TB test results under 1 year old. BCSD strongly encourages all applicants to upload their TB test results. If the applicant has not completed the test, he/she will be required to upload a word document acknowledging that the results will be uploaded as soon as the test is completed. Please Note: A delay in submitting TB test results will postpone the onboarding process. (If selected for a position)

Paraprofessional Praxis exams are offered through Berkeley County School District and Dorchester District 2. There is a registration cost of $75 that must be submitted at the time the test is administered.

Applicants will be contacted by the school/location they have applied to within 3 weeks if selected for an interview. Please do not call the district regarding an interview status.
