Job summary

Berkeley County School District is seeking a Paraprofessional Assistant. Applicants must complete online in APPLITRACK with all required documents, including transcripts showing an Associate's degree or at least 60 college credits. A Praxis Paraprofessional exam score of 456+ is required, and a TB test within the last year must be uploaded or documented.

Interviews are scheduled if selected. Test fees and scheduling are managed by the district; applicants may be contacted within three weeks.

Teacher Assistant Application Requirements

• Negative TB test results under 1 year old. BCSD strongly encourages all applicants to upload their TB test results. If the applicant has not completed the test, he/she will be required to upload a word document acknowledging that the results will be uploaded as soon as the test is completed. Please Note: A delay in submitting TB test results will postpone the onboarding process. (If selected for a position)

Paraprofessional Praxis exams are offered through Berkekely County School District and Dorchester District 2. There is a registration cost of $75 that must be submitted at the time the test is administered.

Applicants will be contacted by the school/location they have applied to within 3 weeks if selected for an interview. Please do not call the district regarding an interview status.
