Job summary

The City of Denton seeks a Crossing Guard to assist elementary school children in crossing streets safely before and after school. You will stop traffic at intersections, set up cones, and notify authorities about hazards, while staying courteous with students and staff.

Join a weather-exposed outdoor role requiring punctual attendance and the ability to stay calm in emergencies. Bilingual in Spanish and English is preferred to support the diverse school community.

Conditions of Employment

• Must pass a drug test, criminal history background check, and social security number verification check
• Must be able to work 3 hours daily, morning and afternoon, on DISD school days
