Job summary

TrulyHired is seeking a Network Administrator to administer and optimize LAN/WAN networks, wireless connectivity, and core services. You will monitor performance, troubleshoot complex issues, and contribute to security, backup, and documentation efforts.

The role requires hands-on experience with TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, VLANs, routing, switching, and VoIP support. You will work with vendors and internal teams on projects and incident response, including out-of-hours maintenance.

Qualifications

• Experience administering and maintaining LAN/WAN networks and wireless connectivity.
• Proficient in configuring TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, VLANs, routing, and switching.
• Proactive monitoring of performance, logs, and capacity to resolve issues.
• Strong troubleshooting of hardware, software, wireless, and connectivity problems.
• Experience implementing network security, firewall rules, access controls, and segmentation.
• Maintain firmware/patch updates and configuration backups.
• Install/repair cabling, fiber, and network equipment.
• Support VoIP and other network-based telecom systems.
• Assist with network design, planning, and implementation projects.
• Maintain accurate network documentation and inventories.

Responsibilities

• Research emerging technologies and recommend improvements.
• Respond to outages and perform scheduled maintenance outside normal hours as needed.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
