Montgomery County Public Schools in Virginia is now accepting applications for Library Media Specialist teaching positions that may become available within our division for the 2026 – 2027 school year.

PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES:

The Library Media Specialist works with teachers and other school staff to provide skills and materials to supplement student learning. • Experience with the organization, administration, and evaluation of a library media center, including ethical issues
• Familiarity with the role of the library media specialist as a resource person for students and professional staff in curriculum design and the integration of library media services in instruction

FLSA: Exempt

SALARY: $53,889.00 - $87,325.91 annually, with benefits; commensurate with experience
