Job summary

This position is intended to start in August 2026 and is budgeted for just the 2026-2027 school year.Successful teaching assistantswill be considered for other roles for which they are qualified.

The Teaching Assistant - Temporary Role

Our Teaching Assistant role is a perfect opportunity to give talented individuals practice and experience teaching and working with kids.

• They will support with schoolwide systems and routines like arrival, meal times, recess, and dismissal.
• They will work in collaboration with and under the guidance of experienced Lead Teachers.
• Teaching Assistants may also act as substitutes throughout the building as needed.
• The content and age range of students they work with will depend on the needs of the school.

This is an academic year position starting in August 2026. School hours are 8:20-4:00 for staff.

Compensation: Salary for this role is $40,000. Multilingual candidates are compensated higher.
