Breakthrough Public Schools (BPS) is seeking Instructional Aides for the 2025-26 school year. Roles and Responsibilities of the Instructional Aide

• Assist scholars with instructional and non-instructional tasks as assigned by the teacher
• Potentially serve as a 1:1 aide for individual students
• Supervise and ensure the safety and well-being of scholars at all times
• Support and assist lead teachers, including preparing activities and implementing lesson segments
• Maintain a clean, neat, and organized classroom and storage areas
• Attend weekly classroom and team meetings
• Familiarize with state Special Education regulations and review Individualized Educational Plans (IEPs)
• Assist with non-instructional duties as required

• High School Diploma or equivalent; Associate's Degree preferred

Work Environment and Physical Demands

Work is performed in an office setting with moderate noise, requiring sitting, moving about the school, and supporting students physically as needed. Long periods of sitting and standing are typical.
