License Required: Minnesota K-12 ELL or ESL

This position is eligible for medical and dental benefits.

Job Duties and Responsibilities
  1. Implements methods and techniques of differentiating the district-approved curriculum for meeting the needs of individual EL/ELL students.
  2. Plans instruction and other student support activities, including establishing overall goals and priorities.
  3. Participates in parent/teacher conferences; interprets student strengths, weaknesses, and/or problems.
  4. Develops student assessments and evaluates results.
  5. Determines student grades for instructional units and reports progress to parents in collaboration with classroom teachers.
  6. Works collaboratively with colleagues and supervisors.
  7. Complies with Minnesota Department of Education requirements for assessing, reporting, and serving students who qualify for ELL services.
  8. Performs other similar duties as required.

  1. Collaborates in a fast-paced environment interacting with students, staff, administrators, parents, and the community.
  2. Supports and communicates with other administrators and staff.
  3. Responds effectively in emergency situations.
  4. Follows school district policies.
  5. Adjusts to changing student schedules in pull-out or push-in programs.
  6. Engages in professional development to enhance teaching skills and content knowledge.
  7. Manages time, responsibilities, and works independently.
Knowledge and Skills
  • Ability to apply skills in daily routines.
  • Proficiency with computers, software, and necessary technology.
  • Ability to develop positive relationships with students, staff, administrators, parents, and the community.
