Purpose of the Position

This role involves teaching Math to secondary students, aligning instruction with curriculum objectives and integrating biblical perspectives to foster both academic and spiritual growth.

Key Responsibilities

• Model Christ in word and deed
• Follow guidance from your Department Head
• Prepare weekly lesson plans
• Teach curriculum based on national standards and biblical integration
• Communicate with parents as per policy
• Respond to emails and staff communications
• Be available for student support before and after school
• Participate in school events like Back to School Night and accreditation processes
• Engage in professional development
• Attend department meetings
• Perform supervisor duties as assigned
• Decorate classroom seasonally and scripturally
• Prepare and post grades, maintain student records
• Discipline with love and enforce conduct policies
• Provide remediation or enrichment as needed
• Participate in Small Groups ministry
• Attend scheduled chapel services
• Adhere to professional dress code
• Maintain a substitute folder and classroom organization
• Ensure classroom safety and cleanliness
• Physical ability to lift 40 pounds and sit/stand for extended periods

Work Schedule

Monday-Friday, 7:30 a.m. - 4:00 p.m., with possible evening or weekend commitments for events or emergencies.
