Cologne Academy (PreKindergarten-8th Grade Public School) - Cologne, MN is located in Carver County and currently enrolls approximately 750 students between our onsite and virtual academy. The ideal candidate will join a large special education team with an on-site assistant director, school psychologist, full-time school social worker, behavior interventionist, due process secretary, paraprofessionals, all related service providers, and a continuum of intervention services in its MTSS programming.
Qualifications:
Program Description: The Early Childhood Special Education (ECSE) teacher is responsible for providing specialized instruction and services to children ages 4 through 6 with developmental delays. The ECSE teacher will collaborate with families, general education staff, community professionals, and other special education providers to design and implement IEPs in accordance with federal and state guidelines. Services will be provided for 4 year olds in the STARS Early Learning program and for kindergarten age students with identified developmental delays.
