Assistant Wrestling Coach

Position Summary:

To help each participating student achieve a high level of skill, an appreciation for the values of discipline and sportsmanship, and an increased level of self-esteem. Assist with the Wrestling program.
Essential Functions:

1. Comprehensive knowledge and understanding of the rules and fundamentals of Wrestling.
2. Provide emergency first aid.
3. Maintain a conducive and safe environment.
4. Maintain, issue, and provide an accurate inventory of school equipment. Model skills of the sport.
5. Develop positive relations with student and parents. This includes appropriate dress, language, and demeanor.
6. Other duties as assigned.

Supervises students in program.

Experience: Previous experience in coaching Wrestling preferred.
Education: Educator certification preferred. Must hold a valid Missouri teaching certificate or be eligible for a substitute teaching certificate (minimum 60 college credit hours).
