Duties and Responsibilities:

KIPP NYC is seeking teachers who can motivate and educate students, develop both academic and character skills, and make a college preparatory education relevant now and in the future.

General Responsibilities Include (but Are Not Limited To)

1. Teaching a rigorous curriculum that aligns with the school’s standards and the New York State standards.
2. Engaging students in high-quality, exciting learning experiences.
3. Committing to ongoing professional and personal growth by collaborating closely with a team of teachers.
4. Regularly assessing student progress and communicating results to families and colleagues.
5. Providing individual or small group instruction to students needing additional support.
6. Demonstrating a “whatever it takes” attitude to ensure student success.
