Job summary

Mount Carmel Clinic is seeking a Dental Assistant to support the Dentist in various dental procedures, including impressions and x-rays. The ideal candidate will have a National Dental Assisting Examining Board Certificate and at least two years of experience. This casual position requires flexibility in hours and a commitment to equity and inclusion, particularly in relation to Indigenous communities.

Qualifications

Salary: $29.989 - $34.310/hr
*These hours are dependent on the operational requirements of the organization

Position Summary
The Dental Assistant is responsible for the following scope of practice under the supervision of the Dentist; impressions, sealants, prophylaxis (polishing), scaling (if certified), x-rays, fluoride varnish, placing topical anesthetic, placing liners and oral health promotion for all clients.
Qualifications
Education
  • National Dental Assisting Examining Board Certificate Required Manitoba Dental Association Registration Required Member in good standing of Manitoba Dental Assistant Association
Skills, Expertise, and Experience
  • Minimum two years’ experience as a Dental Assistant

  • Current CPR Certification
