Position Summary
The Dental Assistant is responsible for the following scope of practice under the supervision of the Dentist; impressions, sealants, prophylaxis (polishing), scaling (if certified), x-rays, fluoride varnish, placing topical anesthetic, placing liners and oral health promotion for all clients.
Qualifications
Education
- National Dental Assisting Examining Board Certificate Required Manitoba Dental Association Registration Required Member in good standing of Manitoba Dental Assistant Association
Skills, Expertise, and Experience
- Minimum two years’ experience as a Dental Assistant

- Experience working with service specific programs such as; ClearDent, eChart, and Accuro
- Current CPR Certification
