The Department of Economics in the College of Liberal Arts at the University of Minnesota occasionally needs term (non-tenure-track) faculty to fill in for regular faculty on leave. Term faculty include visiting, contract, adjunct, or temporary appointments. Positions are for the 2024/25 academic year.
Term faculty will be expected to teach undergraduate and/or graduate courses, hold office hours, advise students, engage in scholarly research, and perform service and outreach relevant to their rank.
This is not a posting for current vacancies but a pool of applicants for potential openings during the academic year. Selected candidates may have their appointments renewed based on need, funding, and performance.

Pay range: $19,000 - $23,000 per course. Retirement options are available.
