The incumbent leads or contributes to complex infrastructure initiatives, performs advanced troubleshooting and root‑cause analysis, and coordinates closely with Headquarters, vendors, and internal stakeholders. Work requires a high degree of independence, logical problem‑solving, and project leadership, supporting both production operations and strategic IT objectives.

Key Responsibilities
  • Enterprise Server & Infrastructure Management: Design, install, configure, patch, and maintain Windows and Linux servers and core services including Active Directory, DNS, DHCP, file/print, Exchange, SQL, storage, virtualization platforms (VMware/vSphere), and cloud‑integrated resources.
  • Advanced Troubleshooting & Incident Management: Diagnose and resolve complex hardware, software, and system issues; conduct root‑cause analysis; review logs; and produce System Incident Reports for production‑impacting events.
  • Backup, Disaster Recovery & Availability: Develop, execute, test, and validate backup and disaster recovery strategies for servers, Exchange, and SQL databases to ensure business continuity and data protection.
  • Monitoring, Performance & Automation: Implement and operate monitoring solutions; analyze performance metrics; optimize capacity and resource utilization; and develop automation scripts (e.g., PowerShell) to improve reliability and operational efficiency.
  • Security, Compliance & Lifecycle Planning: Implement security controls, patch management and compliance processes; perform capacity planning; recommend hardware upgrades; and manage vendor relationships, procurement documentation, and warranty tracking.
  • Project Leadership & Customer Support: Lead or contribute to infrastructure projects by facilitating meetings, documenting requirements, conducting feasibility studies and testing, preparing approval documentation, and supporting ITSM processes, helpdesk tickets, and stakeholder communications.
Basic Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a closely related field (or equivalent professional experience).
  • Minimum 5 years of hands‑on experience serving as a primary administrator for Windows and/or Linux server environments.
  • Minimum 2 years of experience administering VMware vSphere environments (vSAN experience strongly preferred).
  • Strong expertise in server administration, troubleshooting, and production support for enterprise systems.
  • Demonstrated ability to analyze complex technical issues, perform root‑cause analysis, and implement effective solutions.
  • Proven ability to work independently, manage priorities, and deliver assignments and projects within defined scope and timelines.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Microsoft Windows Server and/or VMware vSphere/vSAN certifications.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to explain technical concepts to non‑technical audiences.
  • Strong planning, organization, and documentation skills with a track record of successful project delivery.
  • Collaborative mindset with the ability to work effectively in a team environment and interact professionally with internal and external customers.
Availability
  • Work Schedule: Scheduled hours may vary and are determined based on business and operational requirements within a three‑shift operation.
  • 24/7 Operation: As this facility operates 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, the candidate must be available to provide coverage for different shifts (including nights, weekends, or holidays) from time to time as business needs dictate.

Salary range: $30.00 - $43.00 an hour PLUS OT and amazing benefits!

In addition to a competitive salary, this position offers a fantastic benefits package that includes comprehensive medical/dental coverage, generous PTO, education assistance, and annual merit increase eligibility in a growth‑focused work environment.
